促进北京旅游业
Russia is marking the "Tourism Year of China", a program to foster tourist ties and exchanges. To help people in Russia better understand Chinese culture, a Russian TV anchor has come to Beijing to experience it all, first-hand.
25-year-old Maria anchors a travel program for a local TV station in Moscow. She has travelled to Beijing to explore Chinese culture for her audiences back home. And the first thing to do here is ask a Chinese person to recommend interesting places for her to visit. In the Forbidden City, this Chinese tourist gives her an answer.
A tourist said, "The Forbidden City is the best choice. The Summer Palace, the Great Wall and of course Hutongs."
Besides such famous tourist attractions, Chinese food has also impressed Maria, especially Beijing Roast Duck. She also finds out that Chinese people love spicy food.
She says that she’s very interested in Chinese culture and that she researched a lot online before coming.
Beijing is her first stop in China. Next, Maria will travel to Chongqing and share all that she finds with her audience in Russia.
