巴西对美国的监控表示关注
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has met Brazilian President Dilma Eousseff in the capital of Brazil, aiming to expand the relationship between the two countries.
Brazil has expressed concerns over the U.S. National Security Agency surveillance of the country, which was leaked by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
Earlier in July, the Latin American economic powerhouse demanded answers over the U.S. surveillance programme. It also warned that trust between the two nations would be damaged if the U.S.’s explanations were not satisfactory.
According to the documents leaked by Snowden, most Latin American countries were targeted by U.S. spying programs, especially Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico.
