中国喜迎2014

This is New Year at the Great Wall. Tonight thousands of young people are gathered at the Badaling section of the wall in Beijing to welcome 2014. LED and laser lights will be lit at the turn of the new year to form a giant dragon.

In Shanghai, there’s a spectacular light show at the Bund to usher in the year of 2014. This year the light show has the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and the Shanghai Custom House as the backdrop with the theme of fantastic journey.

There are images of China’s pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, Disney Land, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the Colloseum in Rome taking viewers on a journey to landmarks around the world.
