央视315晚会曝光质量问题
On World Consumer Right's Day, CCTV's annual gala focused on consumer products sold in China that have quality issues. Nine products and companies with quality issues were exposed in the gala.
These include the Nikon D600 camera. Consumers from 8 provinces and cities have reported black spots appearing in pictures clicked with brand new cameras. Staff at the customer service centers dismissed complaints saying they were because of the smoggy weather.
The gala also showed that Hangzhou-based Guangqi trade company was selling expired raw materials to at least 100 bread stores in Zhejiang and Jiangsu. This includes the Singaporean bakery chain BreadTalk. The company was accused of taking out the mouldy parts of flour and cream, and changing the expiry dates and packaging.
Similar problems were reported with Ozmilko, an Australian infant formula brand. Customs in Beijing has detained over 900 such cans of infant formula on suspicion that their expiry dates have been changed.
