电子商务占中国GDP的4.4％

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, there are 632 million internet users in China, or 47 percent of the total population. Among them, 527 million users access the Internet from their smart phones.

Amongst China’s 67 listed internet companies, 7 have made the top 30 list of the world best internet companies. In the first half of 2014, the internet business generated 400 billion yuan in revenue, or about 65 billion US dollars, amounting to 47 percent of total income of the information and communication industry.

And the scale of on-line shopping keeps expanding. In 2012, China became the world’s second largest e-commerce market after the US. In the first quarter of 2014, Chinese e-commerce businesses earned a combined total of 2.57 trillion yuan, about 418 billion US dollars...that’s 4.4 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product.
