胡塞组织同意参加日内瓦和谈
Yemen's dominant Houthis agreed on Thursday to join United Nations-backed peace talks in Geneva planned for June the14th. The Houthis made the decision a day after their opponents in the exiled government confirmed their attendance.
Meanwhile, airstrikes continue nationwide on the ground despite of peace advances. Coalition Arab bombings killed around 58 people across Yemen on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Houthi-controlled state news agency Saba. 48 people, most of them women and children, were killed in airstrikes on their houses in the Houthi heartland in the rural far north adjoining Saudi Arabia.
Military sources in Aden said coalition warplanes also struck rebel forces on the outskirts of the port city, in support of pro-government fighters from the southern Popular Resistance. CCTV could not verify the reports independently.
