伊拉克发生汽车炸弹自杀式袭击

Car bombs and suicide attacks have killed 35 people in the mainly Shi'ite Muslim districts of Baghdad.

More than 100 people were wounded. This is one of the deadliest attacks in the Iraqi capital recently. Some 100 others were wounded.

Security and medical sources say the northern Shaab neighborhood took the heaviest toll, where a car bomb followed by suicide blast killed 19 people.

Authorities are now investigating reports of two further possible bombs.
