土耳其呼吁更有效的打击IS

As Turkey was still coming to terms with Monday's terrorist bombing that left dozens dead, another attack struck at a Turkish town near the Syrian border. This time the target - Turkish police officers.

A 20-year old has been identified as the suicide bomber that killed 32 and wounded over 100 others in the town of Suruc near the Syrian border.

Local media named Seyh Abdurrahman Alagoz as the bomber with links to the terror group ISIL that targeted Kurdish activists on Monday.

Meanwhile, funerals for the victims took place in the country, Southeastern Turkey and Istanbul leaving mourners in tears.

Many political analysts believe that this attack has proven it is time for Turkey to combat terrorist organizations such as Islamic State more efficiently.

"It has become a threat to our nations' inner stability. I believe Turkey will use all the rights within international law to fight terrorism from now on," Retired turkish army officer Ibrahim Pazan said.

Turkey's Republican People's Party deputy chairman emphasized that despite strong signals, security forces had not taken enough precautions.

"During the last couple of weeks there were warnings of potential terror attacks, such notices that suicide bombings or car bombings could soon take place were even leaked to the media," Turkey's Republican People's Party deputy chairman Haluk Koc said.

Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Workers' Party or PKK militants claimed responsibility for killing two police officers as revenge for the Suruc attack- accusing the Turkish police of collaborating with ISIL.

Even with security increases along Turkish - Syrian border, the recent terrorist attacks have raised fears in the community of more to come.
