1.perennial adj. 四季不断的，继续多年的，永久的

如：A perennial woody plant having a main trunk and usually a distinct crown.
树一种多年生木质植物，生有一个主干且常有一个很明显的树冠

2.Lay down 放下（武器），放弃，制定、强制性宣称（法律、规则），拟定(地图比例等)

如：He was willing to lay down his life for his country.
他愿意为祖国牺牲他的生命。

You can't lay down hard and fast rules.
规则不能定得太严太死。

3.sable brush 黑貂毫笔

4.artificial adj. 人造的，虚伪的，武断的

如：This orange drink contains no artificial flavourings.
这种橙汁饮品不含人工调味料。
