Should Parents Send Their Kids to Art Classes？

开门见山指出这种现象源于父母望子成龙心切。

自然带出这种现象引起广泛争议。
Nowadays, most parents hold great ambitions for their children; thus the kids are sent to a considerable variety of art training classes such as dancing, music and chess, you name it.This phenomenon has given rise to much controversy among the public.

正面论证：父母认为有一技之长者处处皆可立足。

原因之二：并且孩子越早接触艺术，潜能就能越早被挖掘。
A large majority of parents deem it sensible to get involved in these extra curriculums because they are fiercely convinced that he who has an art has everywhere a part.Also they suppose that the earlier the kids expose themselves to art and music, the more likely their artistic potential is to be detected.

反面论证：首句承上启下，引出不同观点。

理由是过多的课程会给孩子带来压力。结果只能是适得其反。
While for the others, they have a few disagreements.Attending too many art classes tend to make the kids feel burdened if the classes are against their own will.So, it is natural that the result will definitely turn out to be just the opposite of their wish.

全文总结："我"的观点是凡事皆有两面性。

提出建议：尊重孩子的兴趣乃是明智之举。

As far as I am concerned, just as every coin has two sides, it is true to the phenomenon discussed above.Prudent parents should take the kids' interests into their account when making decisions.
