　　There are different types of music in the world today. Why do we needmusic? Is the traditional music of a country more important than theinternational music that is heard everywhere nowadays?

　　No matter whether you cherish every minute of it or leave it alone, music,as one part of the culture, has been ingrained in our heart for a past andever-lasting memory. Music, originating with the culture, has long been thenecessity of our daily life. Not based on our consciousness, music has threeimportant reasons for existence.

　　Most important of all is its function as a worldwide language, which ismuch more popular than any other form of language, including what I am writingin. Music seems to know the joy when you are in ecstasy, while it can alleviatethe pain when you are at the bottom of the ocean. Like the function of thelanguage, music can be used to communicate with one another’s feelings andthoughts. Besides, as we all know, music is a way of ventilation, relaxation andenjoyment. After a day’s work, after a tiring night, after a molding anger,after indulgence in happiness, you need music to speak it out, with every cellof you feeling the sensations. All in all, the function of music isirreplaceable and undeniable.
