2010年考研英语写作短文闪光句型总结

英语写作的考查目的是什么?理应了解考查中国学生的英语作文,其目的并不完全是看考生把题目论述得如何好,是否把提示的内容都表达出来(当然这也是一个方面),更重要的是考查学生的英语语言能力,即英语表达能力。因此,在英语写作考试中,不仅仅是把内容写出来就可以了,而应更多地考虑怎么把自己的语言水平表现出来。许多考生没有意识到这一点,往往是想到什么词就写什么词,没有停下来稍微思考一下:还有没有更好、更贴切的词,还有没有更生动、更有力的句子结构。应当看到,我们的阅卷人员几乎都是中国教师,而非外国人,他们更重视语言,也就是说,是精彩的遣词造句使文章赢得阅卷人的好感而得到高分,而不是由于论述得如何出色而帮助得分。在内容基本雷同、语言普遍平淡的作文中,出现一篇用词、用句都不同寻常的文章,会使阅卷人眼前一亮,高分作文往往就是这样产生的。因此,本章列出最具有得分点的闪光句型和经典词语供学生背诵仿写,帮助学生加快摆脱语言的障碍,在短时间内迅速提高英语语言表达能力,丰富写作思维,写出高品质的考研作文,最终赢得这场战役的胜利。

第一节  闪光句型

考研英语写作的文章一般包括一个开头段、若干扩展段和一个结尾段。开头段和结尾段一般比扩展段短。各种段落的作用、写作方法和经典句型均将在本节中做详细解说。

一、开头段的句型

开头段一定要语言精炼,并且直接切入主题。开头段一般不对主题进行深入的探讨,具体的论证或叙述应该在扩展段进行。开头段的作用为:概括陈述主题,提出观点或论点,表明写作意图。

(一)开头段的常用核心句型

1.The arguer may be right about…, but he seems to neglect (fail) to mention (take into account) the fact that…

2.As opposed to (Contrary to) widely (commonly/generally) held (accepted) belief (ideas/views), I believe (argue) that…

3.Although many people believe that…, I doubt (wonder)whether the argument bears much analysis (close examination).
