The 1st Asian university table tennis championship to be held in Mongolia

ULAN BATOR, March 29 (Xinhua) -- The first Asian university table tennis championship will be held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia in later April, according to Mongolian Student Sports Federation on Saturday.

The match will be co-hosted by Mongolia's government and Asian University Sport Federation.

About 17 countries and regions will attend the match and each country or region is authorized to enter a maximum of 10 competitors.

The competition will last four days and will include seven events of men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

Mongolia now has established the organizing committee headed by Mongolia's minister of health.

In 2007, the Asian University Sport Federation decided to organize this match in Mongolia.
