Xiao Sha snatches gold of balance beam at Cottbus World Cup

COTTBUS, Germany, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese gymnast Xiao Sha snatched the gold medal of balance beam at Cottbus gymnastics World Cup on Sunday.

The athlete popped out to top podium with 16.125 points.

Another Chinese athlete Li Shanshan, a silver medallist at Stuttgart World Championships in 2007, took the silver medal despite that she fell from the beam.
