Guga not disappointed after loss in Monte Carlo

BRASILIA, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Gustavo "Guga" Kuerten's loss on Monday in the first round of the Masters Series in Monte Carlo was not surprising to the player.

The Croatian, Ivan Ljubicic did not intimidate Guga, but the Brazilian just did not have the legs and stamina to put up a good fight. Guga stated that the objective of his appearance in Monte Carlo was to remember the good times as a professional tennis player.

In his farewell tour, Guga has put together of record of four losses and one victory. The Brazilian still has left on his farewell tour the tournament of Barcelona, the Roland Garros and the Stuttgart tournament.
