Mexican Olympic team presents uniforms

MEXICO CITY, May 27 (Xinhua) -- The Mexican delegation that will participate in the Olympic Games of Beijing-2008 presented Tuesday to the press the uniforms that the 80 Mexican athletes will use.

With the slogan "Wear the skin of Mexico" that sports trademark Atletica presented the uniforms.

Mexico will use again its traditional colors green, white and red, after using "Mexican pink" for the uniforms that used in Athens-2004.

Marketing director of Atletica Monserrat Cabrera said that the uniforms were designed to allow athletes more liberty on the arms thanks to an ergonomic cut on the sides that will allow a better transpiration.

Chief of the Mission Carlos Padilla said he is satisfied with Atletica because fulfilled with the quality standards and Mexican sportsmen will be only worried about making a better performance during the Games.

"The sportsmen will have a margin to check if they are comfortable and overall they will dress again the traditional colors of our nations," Padilla said.

Mexican athletes will receive their uniforms on June 31st when they sign their Olympic letters that will certify them to travel to Beijing to participate in the Olympic Games.
