NAIROBI, June 2 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's foreign-based soccer player McDonald Mariga is expected in the country later Tuesday for this weekend's World Cup cum Africa Cup of Nationals qualifier match against Guinea in Nairobi.

Mariga who turns out for AC Parma midfielder has been on a tour of Asia with his club and should be available for the remainder of the qualifiers.

The 21-year old midfielder was sorely missed for the Namibian match on Saturday that Harambee Stars lost 2-1.

Madiga will be joined by the Angolan-based striker Allan Wanga who has also been given the all clear by his employers, Petro Atletico, to stay home and help the Harambee Stars in the second round 2010 World Cup/Africa Nations Cup qualifiers.

According to the Standard newspaper, Wanga used his own ticket to fly to Nairobi for national duty without official clearance as his release letter arrived in Angola late.

"I am now relieved that I have been granted permission. I want to focus on the matches ahead," said Wanga, who has scored four goals for his new club since joining them on Jan. 4.
