The Olympic Canadian Men's Team announced

The Federation of Canadian Archers (FCA) has announced the men’s team for the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. Four women will travel to Boe, France, in two weeks to take part in the World Cup Stage 4 and attempt to earn one Olympic spot. The FCA has also selected the athletes who will compete in the Paralympic Games in September.

These male archers will be nominated to the Canadian Olympic Committee for final approval:

Jay Lyon
Crispin Duenas
John-David Burnes
Hugh MacDonald (alternate)

The following women will travel to Boe, France, to attempt to earn one spot for Canada at the Olympic Games:

Kateri Vrakking
Marie-Pier Beaudet
Rachael Savage
Alana MacDougall

The Federation of Canadian Archers is pleased to announce the following archers will be competing at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. These archers will be nominated to the Canadian Paralympic Committee for final approval:

Norbert Murphy (ARW1)
Lyne Tremblay (ARW2)
Kevin Evans (AR Open)
Rob Cox (alternate AR Open)
