Excellence and Patricia Wade go hand in hand!

On the occasion of the statutory General Assembly, members of the GAISF (General Association of International Sports Federations) honored FIG Technical Committee President for Acrobatic Gymnastics, Dr. Patricia Wade (GBR), with the Excellence Prize. This prestigious award pays tribute to Ms Wade's contribution and personal commitment to the development of sport, education and health concerns throughout gymnastics.

This is the second time that the FIG has found itself on the receiving end of this distinction; the same was awarded to the Federation's Honorary President, Mr. Yuri Titov (RUS), in 2006.

The 2008 GAIFS Excellence Prize was awarded by incumbent President, Mr. Hein Verbruggen, to the thunderous applause of the entire Assembly.
