Eight boats keep Olympic hopes alive

(BEIJING, June 17) -- With Olympic qualification on the line, four boats in the Women's Double and four in the Men's Double finished at the top of their respective repechage races on June 17 and are moving on to the finals at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Poznan, Poland.In the Women's Double repechage, Switzerland, France, Poland and Belarus have qualified for the final. Denmark and Russia finished fifth and sixth, respectively, and have been eliminated from the competition.In the Men's Double repechage, Bulgaria, Russia, Italy and the Czech Republic finished in the top four to qualify for Wednesday's final.
