(BEIJING, June 23) -- After Serbia gave Venezuela its first FIVB World League win on Saturday, the South Americans returned the favor, falling in straight sets on Sunday to allow Serbia to finish the second weekend of competition with a 1-3 record. The two teams now have five points each and sit behind France and Brazil, who lead pool A with seven points each.

Serbia got a boost from Ivan Milijkovic, who was suiting up for the first time in the tournament. He led all players with twenty points.

"We are satisfied with this first victory in this 2008 World League, we are used to play well, four new players have been starting matches," said Serbia's head coach Igor Kolakovic. "Little by little, Milijkovic and Grbic are being integrated in the team systems. They were requested in the Italian league, recently finished. What it is more important of all, we played as experts do."'

Next weekend Serbia will play against France in Lyon, and Venezuela will meet Brazil in Caracas.
