Helen Tucker: Nice to be back racing

2008-07-08来源:
(BEIJING, July 8) -- British triathlete Helen Tucker is currently preparing herself for Beijing 2008 at the High Performance Center in Swansea. As a shock winner of the World Title in Vancouver in early June, she looks forward to winning Britain's first Olympic medal in triathlon.

Bridgend-based, Tucker usually trains at the Wales National Pool and occasionally uses a number of other facilities located around Swansea University.

Though suffering from an Achilles tendon problem for nearly two years, 24-year-old Tucker still qualified for the British Olympic squad after finishing second at the Madrid World Cup.

"A medal would be nice, but triathlon is uNPRedictable - there are a lot of factors that could go wrong.

"Over the next weeks' training, I'll form an idea of what I'd like to achieve, but after last year it's just nice to be back racing."
