(BEIJING, July 11) -- At the Golden Gala in Rome, former Men's 100m world record holder Asafa Powell has his heart locked on setting another world's best, this time in the Men's 4x100m Relay. The current record for the four-man event is held by the USA, and was set in 1992.Due to injuries, this meet is only the third that Powell has competed in since February of this year.Powell's 9.74 second record in the 100m was recently broken twice, once by fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt, who currently holds the world record with a time of 9.72, and another time by American Tyson Gay, who crossed the finish line at a wind-assisted 9.68 at the US Olympic Track and Field Trials.
