(BEIJING, July 22) -- Australia came back from two goals down in the first half to beat the Republic of Korea 4-3 on Monday, June 21, in the second match of a three-match tune-up for the Olympics. Australian Luke Doerner sealed the victory off a penalty corner awarded in the final seconds of the match.

The ROK's Jang Jong-hyun scored three consecutive penalty corner goals in just six minutes at the beginning of the match. Youngster Des Abbott scored Australia's first goal in the 19th minute with a nice shot from the top of the circle to get his team to within two before halftime.

A goal by Eli Matheson just minutes into the second half cut Australia's deficit to one. But they wouldn't get the equalizer until the 68th minute, when Australia's relentless second-half pressure paid off with a penalty stroke by Jamie Dwyer.

Australia was awarded two penalty corners in the dying seconds of the match and capitalized on the second attempt, when Doerner put the ball in the net with no time left in regulation.

This is Australia's second win in the series, which is being played as a warm-up for the upcoming Olympic Games. The third and final match of the series will take place on Wednesday, July 23.
