Olympic boxers confirmed

(BEIJING, July 24) -- All 286 Beijing-bound boxers were confirmed by the Beijing Olympic Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) on July 23.

284 of these qualifiers won their berths through a qualifying process, including nine continental qualifying events and the 2007 AIBA World Championships in Chicago. The other two, Grenada's Rolande Moses of the 69kg class and Swaziland's Simanga Shiba of the 48kg class, were the two wild cards granted tickets to Beijing.
