(BEIJING, July 29) -- Stephanie Vogt of Liechtenstein and Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina have withdrawn from the Beijing Olympic tennis tournament due to injury, according to the International Olympic Committee official website on Monday.

Vogt is the only Liechtenstein player who currently holds a WTA ranking: 246th in singles and 346th in doubles. In March, she was awarded a wildcard entry for the Women's Singles tennis competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics, but will now be replaced by WTA No. 37 Tamarine Tanasugarn of Thailand.

Tennis player Chela was slated to represent Argentina in Men's Singles in Beijing. His career highlight came when he defeated former World No. 1 Andy Roddick of the U.S. in the 2007 Masters event in Rome. Chela will be replaced by his countryman Agustin Calleri, who is currently 58th in the ATP world ranking.
