China then went on an 11-4 run to start the second and then extended their lead to 37-21 by halftime.Going into the third quarter with a large lead, the Chinese team began mixing-in different offensive strategies, particularly passing the ball inside. But poor transitions and ball distribution led to meager production in the quarter. Star center Yao Ming scored just six points
