excuse：原谅

例：
Please excuse my disturbing you.
请原谅我打扰了你。

Shall you excuse his ignorance?
你要原谅他的无知吗？

Please excuse my poor English.
请原谅我的英语太差。

2. You think you know a guy.
你以为你了解一个人，其实你不了解。

3. This stinks.

stink：发臭，招人厌

例：
Fish begins to stink at the head.
鱼变坏的话是从头部开始的。

Guest and fish stink in three days.
客人和鱼一样做久了就臭了。

4. And they don't have a clue.

clue：线索，想法

例：
I haven't got a clue about the traffic problem.
交通的问题我一点也不懂。
