Daniel: Can you tell me about the special characteristics of the night fair? Is that very different from other ordinary fairs?

May: Of course. You can only see the night fairs at night; it often opens at 6:00 p.m. and it lasts for 5 or 6 hours. There are various vendor stands here.

Daniel: What do they sell there?

May: Clothes, shoes, snacks and so on. You can find just about whatever you want.

Daniel: Anything else?

May: There are also some fine art crafts, including wood carving, shell ornaments and paper-cut.

Daniel: I think our foreign friends will like them. They said they were interested in the traditional culture.

May: They surely will. We can take them to this night fair next time.

Daniel: Oh, look, there are so many people over there. What are they doing?

May: Let me see. They are watching the perfomp3ance of the lion dance.

Daniel: Lion dance? I want to have a look. It sounds wonderful.

May: OK. Let’s go.

Daniel: The dancers must have exercised a lot. They move so flexibly.

May: Yes, but we should go now, since the time is limited. You can see the perfomp3ance next time.

Daniel: OK. Do you want to buy something here?

May: Yes, I want to buy some hair clips.
