[00:06.45]Two friends were travelling together through a forest.One of them said:"If we meet any wild beasts,I’ll help you and you’ll help me."
[00:12.63]两个朋友在一道旅行,穿过一座森林。其中一人说:“要是碰到野兽,我就帮助你,你也要帮助我。”
[00:18.81]"That’s fine,"said his friend,and they walked on.
[00:21.36]“好的,”他的朋友说。接着,他们继续往前走。
[00:23.90]Suddenly a big bear ran our from behind a tree.The man who said he would help his friend at once got up a tree and hid himself among the leaves.
[00:30.28]突然,一只大熊从一棵树后面跑出来。那个说要帮助他朋友的人马上爬到树上,把自己藏在树叶丛里。
[00:36.65]The other man could not climb trees.So he threw himself on the ground,closed his eyes and pretended to be dead.
[00:41.99]另外一人不会爬树,于是便倒在地上,闭住眼睛装死。
[00:47.33]The bear came up and sniffed at the man’s head.It put its nose close to his mouth and ears.
[00:51.55]熊走过来,闻闻这个人的头,又把鼻子凑近他的嘴和耳朵。
[00:55.77]The man held his breath.The bear thought he was dead and walked away,for bears never touch dead men.

[01:18.08]"Well,"said his friend,"the bear said:’Don’t trust those who leave their friends the moment they get into difficulty!’"

[01:55.57]In ancient Greece there once lived a clever man.His name was Aesop.

[02:04.03]One day,when Aesop was taking a walk in the country,a traveller stopped him and said,"Kind sir,can you tell me how soon I can get to town?"
[02:09.89]一天,伊索在乡间散步。一个行路人叫住他,说:"好心的先生,请问我要走多久才能到城里?"
[02:15.76]"Go,"Aesop answered."I know I must go,"said the traveller,"But I want to know how soon I can get to town."

[02:25.66]"Go,"Aesop shouted to him.The traveller was very angry,"This man must be mad,"he thought.And he walked away.

[02:37.00]Suddenly he heard Aesop shouting to him."You will go to town in two hours."
