剧中:It was a mix up, I guess.

mix up :误解,误会, a misunderstanding or confusion

e.g. <1>I thought you said we’re going to meet on Park street not on Main street. What a mix up!

             我记得你说我们在Park大街见面,而不是Main大街。你瞧瞧全搞乱了,误会了!

      <2>If it wasn’t for the mix up, I would have been here on time.

              要不是因为误会,我肯定会准时到达的。

经典对白:

1.chunk :大量的, a large amount

e.g. <1>I won quite a chunk of money in the lottery.

           我中了彩票,赢了一大笔钱。

     <2>That hairdresser just cut a chunk of my hair off. It’s so short now.

            那个理发师剪掉了我那么多头发,现在这么短了。

2.剧中: before it gets kicked up to me. 

kick up / over to sb.:递给,转给某人, transfer

e.g.<1> After you’re done reading the paper, will you kick it over to me?

             你看完报纸后能不能给我看看?

     <2>If you’re not happy with those jeans, kick them up to me. I really like them.

             如果你不喜欢这些牛仔,给我吧,我真的很喜欢他们。

3.no dice :no way ,no chance,没戏,没可能

e.g. <1>I asked my Dad if I could borrow his car, but he said no dice.

             我问我爸能不能借他的车,他说不行。

      <2>My sister said no dice when I asked her if I could come to the club with her.

            我问我姐姐我能不能和她一起去俱乐部,她说不可能。
