Ash: I can't seem to progress up the career ladder no matter how hard I try and I have been here for 2 years already! 我已经在这里工作2年了，似乎我怎么努力也没有晋升的机会。

Mindy: Well, have you thought of getting an MBA? I heard it does wonders in getting you to the top. 嗯，你想过考MBA吗？我听说如果你想到高层，这个很有用。

Ash: An MBA, hey. . . well my degree wasn't in business, the business schools won't be interested in me.工商管理学硕士……嘿，我不是在经商，所以商学院不会录取我的。

Mindy: Nonsense! The business schools measure your ability through a test called GMAT. 胡说！商学院通过GMAT来测试你的能力。

Ash: GMAT? What does that stand for and what will the test contain? GMAT? 这个考试具体是什么意思呢？

Mindy: Graduate Management Admission Test, it contains three parts: Analytical Writing Assessment, the Quantitative section, and the Verbal section. Not only does the test mark you on the number of questions answered but also on the difficulty. 研究生管理专业入学考试。他包括三个部分：分析写作评价，数学部分，和语文部分。测试打分不仅看你答题的数量还包括难度。

Ash: Okay, this sounds a little tough, how am I supposed to practice for this? 好的，这听起来有点难，但是我真的应该试着去考吗？
 
Mindy: Up to you, you could have a one on one session with a tutor or group sessions, you can also use free or private computer software. Going to church might help as well! 取决于你自己，你可以请老师一对一进行指导，也可以参加小组，或者使用电脑软件。去教堂可能也会对你有所帮助！
