A:The client you're meeting tomorrow likes to ask a lot of questions,so you have to be well prepared.

甲：你明天要见的客户很善于发问，因此你得好好准备。

B:I see.

乙：我了解了。

上列对话中，client表示“到公司洽谈生意的客户”，也可表示“诉讼时请求律师代为诉讼的委托人”。而customer则表示“到一般商店或商场购买物品的顾客”，两者词意略有差异。

另外，“to be well prepared”词组中，prepared是过去分词作形容词用，常被副词well修饰，表示“准备好的”，其后也可接“for+名词”。
