意：此习语有以下四种意思：
①其他类似的人或物；诸如此类；等等
例： She had books and papers and all.
她有书、纸那类东西。
With her job and the children and all, Jane's kept pretty busy.
简又要工作，又要照看孩子什么的，可把她忙坏了。

②连同；包括；还有
例. What?! Children and all?
什么？！还带孩子？
’The dog ate the whole rabbit, head. bones and all.
狗把整只兔子，连头带骨头都吃掉了。

③（表示加强语气，对他人所讲的持一致意见）确实；的确(=certainly!)
例.I A: It's very cold!
很冷吧？
B：Itis．and all.
可不，冷得很！

④ 虽然；尽管
例.Crippled and all, he's a Iot more active than you are.
他虽腿瘸，可比你活跃得多。

and all that

用：后面常接jazz，rubbish，nonsense，tripe．stuff, kind (sort) of thing，
等等，以避免重复前面已提到的东西、事情等。
意：什么的；那些事；那些东西；诸如此类的东西、事情
例. My grandmother is very keen on good manners: brushing your teeth, keeping
your back straight and all that jazz.
我祖母可讲究好习惯了，什么要刷牙啦，背要挺直啦，那一套。
He knows a lot about politics and all that, but not too much about real life.
他对政治那类事懂得不少，可对实际生活却懂得不多。
and eveWing
意：等等(=and S0 0n)；又是什么的；还有别的等等
例：I've argued with him and everything, but he won't listen.
我跟他争来争去，可他就是不肯听我的。
We bought a huge window-the frame, glass, and everything-for just afe"
dollars。
我们买了一大扇窗子：窗框、玻璃等一齐在内，才花了几块钱。

And．how

用：用做答语，加强语气。这个习语有时也用做反语来讽刺别人，表示才
不是这么回事。
意：是的！确确实实！当然哪！我非常赞同！
