Moon festival's a big holiday for Chinese.

对中国人来说中秋节是一个大节日。

I took a day off so as to keep myself away from the traffic jam.

我请一天假，以避开塞车。

As I got home, I found there were many moon cakes which were given by my parents' friends.

当我回到家时，我发现爸妈的朋友送来一堆月饼放在桌上。
