米勒：玛丽，你叔叔乔治要来做客。
Miller: Mary, your uncle George is coming to visit us.

玛丽：什么时候来？
Mary: When’s he coming?

米勒：二十六日。
Miller: On the Twenty-sixth.

玛丽：他一个人来吗？
Mary: Is he coming alone?

米勒：不，他和他的两个女儿一起来。
Miller: No, he’s coming with his two girls.

玛丽：妈，我记不起那两个女孩了。他们多大了？
Mary: Mother, I don’t remember the girls. How old are they?

米勒：你的表姐法塞十五岁。敏蒂比法塞大，她十七岁。
Miller: Your cousin Facy is fifteen. Mindy is older than Facy. She’s seventeen.

玛丽：他们要和我们住在一起吗？
Mary: Are they going to stay here with us?

Miller: Of course. The girls can stay in your room with you.

玛丽：妈，我们能开派对吗？
Mary: Mother, Can we have a party?

Miller: If you like, but now we have to think about meals and many other things.

Mary: Prepare a list, mother. I can go to the small stores. Everyone there knows me.
