【迷你小对话】

A: Our decrease in spending this year has been negligible. It’s almost the same as last year!
B: Well boss, I will not give you any flimsy excuses. We did make only a slight improvement.
A: At the beginning of the year, fire all non-essential staff. I want any idle staff out of here.
B: Fine, Needless to say though, if orders go up after our staff are laid off, the paltry number of people left won’t be able to do all the wok.

A: 我们今年的开销还是没怎么减少，几乎跟去年一样！
B: 老板，我不想用一些站不住的脚的理由搪塞你。我们的确只进步了那么一点点。
A: 年初的时候，裁掉所有非骨干员工，我要让所有的闲散人员离开。
B: 那好吧。但是毫无疑问，裁员后要是订单数量增加了，剩下的那么可怜巴巴的人手是做不了所有那些活的。
