A: How long does it usually take you to make delivery? 你们通常多久能交货？
B: Delivery would be a month from receipt of your order. 收到你方信用证后一个月。
A: Could you effect shipment more promptly? 你们能否提前一点交货呢？
B: I'm sorry to say that we can't advance the time of delivery. Getting the goods ready, making out the documents and booking the shipping space, all these take time. 很抱歉，我们无法提前交货。您知道备货，制单，订舱，所有这些都要花时间。
A: I see. What's your unloading port? 我明白了。你们的卸货港在哪？
B: How about Qingdao? 青岛如何？
A: We'd like to change the unloading port to Dalian. 我们希望将卸货地址改为大连。
B: No problem. It makes no difference to us to change the unloading port from Qingdao to Dalian. 没问题。卸货港是青岛还是大连对我们来说没有什么区别。

“It takes sb some time to do sth”是“花费某人多少时间来做某事”的意思，例如：It takes us five days to finish the task.（完成这项任务花费了我们5天的时间。）
