托福词汇之“经济型素食者economic vegetarian”

　　Economic vegetarian is not a real vegetarian, but someone who only consumesnon-meat meals when they can't afford to buy meat, normally in the middle of amonth when the last month's salary is all out and the next one is yet tocome.

　　“经济型素食者”并不是真正的素食主义者，而只是在吃不起肉的时候才选择非肉食的人，一般来说，这种素食者出现在一个月的月中，也就是上个月的工资已经花完了，而下个月的工资还没有发的时候。

　　For example:

　　He used to be an economic vegetarian but then he got a better job and canafford to buy steak.

　　他曾经一度是“经济型素食者”，后来找到了个好工作，就吃得起牛排了。
