　　Eddiction is an addiction to electronic devices such as laptops,smartphones, and tablets. Eddiction is characterized by the constant need tocheck your smartphone for the latest Facebook posts, Twitter updates, news, etc.People with eddiction prefer spending time browsing the Internet over socialinteraction.

　　Eddiction指对笔记本电脑、智能手机和平板等电子设备的上瘾症，即“电子设备上瘾症”。其特点是，不停地在智能手机上刷新脸书、推特等社交网站的信息和新闻等行为。患有该上瘾症的人宁愿拿着手机长时间上网，也不愿意出去参加社交活动。

　　Tom is suffering from eddiction. He cannot stop updating his Twitteraccount and sharing pictures on Instagram. Whenever you see him, there is asmartphone in his hand.
