   Task1
Personally, I'd like to suggest this friend not to drop out of school for two reasons.First, studying in a university can provide him with knowledge in a great number of different areas, such as knowledge in accounting and computer science. What they learn will make them succeed in the future competition.Secondly, he can meet some top professors in his major area in the university.
And by listening to these people's lessons, one can broaden his vision and get the latest information in his field. All in all, these are the reasons why I'd like to recommend him keep studying in the university.
  Task 2
Personally, I strongly agree with the statement that if student submit their assignments after the deadline, teachers should deduct their scores because of two reasons. First of all, students will be required to do some assignments such as reading some articles or writing some essays. Teachers can help students to review what they have learned in class in time by pushing them to complete projects before the due day. What is more, in this way, teachers can manage their students effectively. However, if teachers do not deduct students' scores when they submit their assignments late, other students will not turn in their assignment on time. In conclusion, I agree that if students do not submit their assignment in time, teachers should deduct their scores.

  Task 3
A student advises that the university should provide the top students of Chemistry Department with scholarship for two benefits. First, in this way, top students can be motivated to study even harder. Second, Chemistry Department happens to have 100, 000 dollars provided by a organization. In the conversation, the man disagrees with this proposal for two reasons. Firstly, he believes that those top students don't need to be motivated by scholarships. With certificates, it will be easy for them to apply for jobs and graduate schools. Second, he thinks that school should use the money provided by the organization to buy new experimental equipment. By doing this, all students can get benefits. These are the two reasons why the man disagrees with this proposal.
  Task 4
In this set of materials, the reading passage introduces a definition, emotion display rule, which means that people should express their mood according to different situations.
In the lecture, the professor takes his daughter as an example to explain this definition.
In his four-year-old daughter's party, she got a clothe from her grandmother. In fact, she didn't like the clothe. Before she expressed her negative emotion, her mother said that the clothe was so cute and the girl suddenly realized that she should say thank you to her grandmother and give her grandmother a hug. In the end, she did so. So this is the example that the professor uses to explain this definition of emotion display rule.
  Task 5
The man's problem is that his friend Nick broke his roommate's lamp. To cope with this problem, the man faces two possible solutions. First, he can bring a lamp from his home. Second, he can buy a new lamp of the same style for his roommate. Personally, I recommend that the man should take the first solution for two reasons. The first reason is that, in this way,the man needn't pay for a new lamp, and he can save money. The second reason is that, his friend may prefer the lamp he brings from home. These are the two reasons why I believe that the man should take the first solution. (118words)
  Task 6
In this lecture, the professor introduces two benefits of the expansion of railroad in America. The first benefit is that after the expansion of the railroad, companies could sell their products to all over the country. For example, before the expansion, a watch shop could sell watches only in large cities. After the expansion of railroad, the watch shop could sell its items in other places.
The second benefit is that companies could build up their factories in places where there was lack of natural resources. For example, if there was no coal, there would be no electricity.
After the expansion of railway, factories could be built in places where there was no coal. So, these are the two benefits of the expansion of railroad in the U.S.
