Describe a person that you look up to作为例子,很多学生在表达地出奇的一致: 要么是a disabled kid who was eager to play soccer; 要么是a legendary neighbor。
那么你自然就会发现,she’s been through a lot。
这不就是一个a person who you admire的经典例子? 更关键的是, it does affect you.
Q: Describe a person who’s very important to your life and explain why?
A:I could say the person who affects me the most by far is an Australian singer, her name is Sia. I mean, even we’ve never met before, she’s not only an idol, but also a spiritual friend to me through her songs.
First of all as you may know, Sia has been through a lot during the past 6 years because of the tragedy that her boyfriend died in an car accident. To me, my boyfriend just dumped me a few months ago so I kind like understand how dispirited a person could be, especially when listening to her song “Big girls cry”.
However, somehow she cheered up, moved on and put herself into God. Then she bring the prayer into her latest album “Never Give Up” and it helped me get over with the struggle which has bothered me for so long. Now I’m sitting right here tried to follow the God’s willing as well and you know who my priest is.
