留美申请将新增文化评估题

从2010中国国际教育展上获悉，随着美国文化评估测试的推出，跨文化交流能力有望成为赴美留学申请的评估参考因素。据了解，美国文化评估测试将于2011年秋季推出，并在部分美国大学试点推广。

　　美国高校可通过这项测试，对申请赴美的外国学生认识美国文化的水平以及融入美国社会的准备程度进行评估。企业和机构也可通过这项测试对在美工作的外国人进行跨文化交流能力测试。
　　有专家指出，一些赴美留学生由于缺乏文化适应能力，无法融入当地社会，导致了心理问题乃至极端行为的出现。留学申请加入相关测试并提供辅导，既可以帮学生作好准备，也有利于留学事业的发展。
　　其实美国移民入籍一直都有类似的文化测试题，比如考新移民美国国旗的颜色啦、美国历史啦、第一任总统是谁啦?由此来增强新移民对美国的国家认同感。现在出台的这个“留美文化测试”估计也是如出一辙吧。
