In recent years, more and more museums in China have been open to the public for free, as a result of which the number of exhibitions and visitors has risen remarkably. In front of some popular museums, long queues are very common. These museums have to take measures to limit the number of visitors. Today, the form of exhibitions is becoming more diverse.  Some of the large museums make their exhibitions more attractive using advanced technologies such as media and virtual reality (VR). Besides, many museums hold online exhibitions so that people can appreciate those valuable exhibits. Nevertheless, people are still more willing to see the exhibits on the scene.
