火锅与生煎包入选《福布斯》全球美食
Safe is the usual choice for global travelers when faced with a menu of unknown dishes. But a great meal transcends all cultural boundaries, and sharing the food of your host country is the best way to connect with its people and culture。
On Saturday, Forbes made a list of the wonderful and curious dishes of the world, with a bias toward uncovering hidden regional delicacies. The Hot pot from Sichuan, and Shen jian bao from Shanghai have become two of those "must-haves"。
"In China you'll find the streets are lined with boiling pots, called hot pot, filled with soup ingredients, especially in Sichuan. While Shanghai is best known for its street food, especially shen jian bao," said the magazine。
Other "must-haves" include: "the best" ice cream from Argentina, Moqueca de peixe from Brazil, Grilled minced lamb and masala (spiced) fish from India, lampredotto from Italy, okonomiyaki and anago-meshi from Japan, mezze from Lebanon, solyanka from Russia, and Manchego and crisp-fried potatoes from Spain。
