爱玛新发型迎开学 告别"赫敏"做自己

　　Dressed in jeans and a cardigan, her hair closely cropped, it's clear Emma Watson has moved on from the role which, for many years, defined her.

　　Once undistinguishable from her alter ego Hermione, the 20-year-old is now barely recognisable as the tousle-haired Harry Potter star.

　　And that's sure to be the plan. As she headed back to the U.S. for the start of the new university term, a widely smiling Emma seemed delighted with her new look.

　　She has spent the summer holidaying with her family, shopping with her brother, visiting Bangladesh on behalf of ethical clothing chain People Tree and modelling for the Fair Trade company.

　　Emma has also taken to Twitter, keeping her fans updated.

　　Her most recent update read: 'It's great to be back at uni - having the best time! Good luck to everyone else starting school this week, Em.'

　　Her other holiday activity has been cutting her curly hair off.

　　Emma's friends at Brown university in Rhode Island will have to get used to her new look.
