　　泰勒与电影演员/制片人迈克尔·威尔丁的婚姻开始于1952年2月21日，泰勒为威尔丁生下了两个儿子：克里斯托弗（1953年1月6日）和小迈克尔（1955年2月28日），在第二个儿子出生隔年的1月30日

　　，这对夫妻宣告了婚姻的终结。据悉，两人在分手后依旧保持了好朋友的关系。迈克尔·威尔丁一生娶过4位妻子，伊丽莎白是第二任，1979年7月8日，患有癫痫病的威尔丁不慎从楼梯摔了下来，头部受伤，送院后不治身亡。

　　Taylor married actor and producer, Michael Wilding on Feb. 21, 1952. They then divorced on Jan. 30, 1957, but not until after having two children. Their first son, Christopher Edward Wilding, was born on Feb. 27, 1955 and their second son, Michael Wilding Jr. was born on Jan. 6, 1953 in London. After the divorce, they remained good friends. Wilding died on July 8, 1979 at the age of 66 in London after an epileptic seizure triggered his fall down a long flight of stairs causing fatal head injuries.
