CRI听力：US Bus Crash Caused 7 Dead, over 10 Injured

A tour bus carrying Chinese tourists has crashed on a highway near the famous scenic spot Hoover Dam in the United States, killing seven passengers and injuring at least 9 others.
Commander Dean Nyhart with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, or DPS, said six fatalities were confirmed on the scene, some 60 kilometers northwest of Kingman.
"At the scene here we have six confirmed dead, five outside the bus, one inside the bus, and then the others were transported to either Kingman Regional Medical Center or to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. Five were taken to Kingman, five to Las Vegas. (www.hxen.net)
A seventh person died at University Medical Center .
Nyhart said the bus was travelling north on US highway 93 when it veered left and then right across the central line.
He added about half of those killed were women and the driver of the bus was among those in critical condition.
Nyhart also said several others had suffered life-threatening injuries but he was "hopeful" that there would be no more fatalities.
According to DPS, tourists on the bus were Chinese nationals from Shanghai.
