CRI听力:China: Lack of Commitment Hinders Climate Talks
The Chinese government has issued a new statement, saying a lack of commitment from developed economies is going to hinder future international talks on climate change.
The comments come on the heels of the just-concluded UN climate change meetings in Warsaw, Poland.
The Chinese government has gone on-record saying developed countries are lacking a willingness to shoulder their responsibilities.
At the same time, the Chinese foreign ministry says the Chinese government will continue to play a "constructive" role in future climate change talks.
For more on this, CRI's Nathan Wakelin-king earlier spoke to Dr. Wang Chunfeng, negotiator of the Chinese delegation to the Warsaw Climate Change Conference.
