CRI听力:Clashes Follow Funeral of Killed Palestinian Teen
An Arab teenager named Mohammed Abu Khdeir who Palestinians say was killed by Israeli extremists has been laid to rest in the east Jerusalem neighborhood where he lived.
Thousands of people joined the funeral procession as mourners carried the 16-year-old's body from a mosque to a nearby cemetery.
One resident attending the funeral says that the teenager died a martyr.
"We are happy that he died in a youthful state, first of all, and that he's a martyr. We are honoured by him. And we are also sad because he died in the hands of Israelis."
Another man says that he is willing to confront Israelis by all means.
The 16-year-old's burned body was found on Wednesday in a forest after he was seized near his home.
His death has prompted outrage in the Palestinian community.
Hundreds of Palestinian protesters clashed with Israeli police again after the funeral.
Protesters have clashed with police for two days, throwing rocks and firebombs while security forces responded with tear gas and stun grenades.
